Overview
This group is a collaborative forum focused on the adoption and use of national clinical data standards to support nursing documentation in Canada. It does this by enabling coordination and knowledge sharing related to the implementation of standardized admission and discharge assessments within clinical information systems. This matters because consistent nursing data supports comparability, continuity of care, and reliable use of clinical information across care settings and jurisdictions.
Ultimately, this work helps participants align on practical approaches to implementing nursing data standards that support quality care, system planning, and population‑level insight.
Who it’s for
Intended for jurisdictions, clinicians, health system organizations, vendors, policymakers, researchers, and standards organizations involved in implementing, governing, or using nursing clinical documentation and data standards within Canada’s digital health ecosystem.
