What this chapter helps you do
Find the right groups and start seeing activity that matters to you.
Once you understand the difference between Communities and Working Groups, the next step is finding groups that align with your interests, role, or current work. Joining the right groups is what personalizes your experience on AccelerĹŤ.
Finding groups 🔍
You can browse or search for groups directly on the platform. Each group has a description that explains:
the topic or goal of the group
who the group is intended for
what kind of activity happens there
Taking a moment to read this information can help you decide whether a group is right for you.
Joining groups âž•
Some groups are open and can be joined immediately. Others are restricted and require approval before you can access the group’s content.
If a group requires approval:
you can still request to join
the group’s moderators will review the request
you’ll be notified once your request is approved
This helps ensure the right people are involved in more focused or time‑bound work.
What happens when you join 📌
Once you join a group:
its discussions and shared content become visible to you
upcoming events for that group appear in your view
posts from the group begin showing up in your Activity Feed
Your Activity Feed is shaped entirely by the groups you join, making it the easiest way to keep track of what’s happening without visiting each group individually.
Good to know đź’ˇ
You don’t need to join every group at once. It’s often best to start with one or two that are most relevant and expand as your interests or responsibilities change.
Try this now âś…
Search for a group related to your work or interests, read the description, and join it. Then check your Activity Feed to see how it updates.
