What this chapter helps you do
Get oriented quickly and understand where things live on the platform.
Accelerō is a collaboration space designed to support discussion, coordination, and feedback across Canada’s digital health ecosystem. It brings together people working on shared priorities and provides a common place to connect around topics, goals, and initiatives led or supported by Canada Health Infoway.
Rather than being a single stream of content, Accelerō is organized into a few core areas that work together.
The main parts of Accelerō 🧭
Groups
Groups are where most collaboration happens. This includes discussions, shared content, and events. Groups come in two forms (i.e., Communities and Working Groups) which you’ll explore in the next chapter.
Posts and content
Within groups, members can ask questions, share updates, and post resources such as documents or links to support collaboration.
Events
Some groups host meetings, information sessions, or working discussions. Events make it easy to see what’s coming up and register to attend.
Announcements
Announcements share important updates from Infoway, including releases, upcoming events, maintenance notices, or general information relevant to the community.
Activity Feed
Your Activity Feed brings together recent posts from the groups you’ve joined, helping you quickly see what’s new without visiting each group individually.
Good to know 💡
Accelerō complements other Infoway tools, such as InfoScribe, the Terminology Server, and InfoRMS. Those tools are accessed separately, while Accelerō provides the space for conversation, coordination, and collaboration around the work they support.
A simple way to remember where things belong:
Discussion, feedback, and collaboration happen here.
Specialized systems and tools are accessed separately, with guidance provided when needed.
