Wondering if there are any interested parties in discussing genomics and the various aspects to how it fits into patient records, type of data, terminology models, and subsequent implications to the messaging/FHIR standards?
I don't know that there is an easy or single solution to this, but I think it would be helpful to bring together different perspectives for consideration. I am a bit confused about the delineation of the test result vs interpretation vs condition/problem list/diagnosis. From what I have seen thus far, there is a notable blur and as we start to look at introducing genomics modules into our electronic health systems I am not sure how to make recommendations.
I will drop some additional information and thoughts below - but please reach out to me if you are interested in a brainstorm!
